2011 "TGC for the Troops" Tournament and Reception
Thanks to our 2011 Honorary Chairman, Brigadier General Donald J. Quenneville (USAF, retired), participants, sponsors, volunteers and staff, 2011 TGC for the Troops was an immense success!
The total dollar amount raised was $50,000 ($10,000 greater than 2010): the sellout field of participants and sponsors could not have enjoyed better company, weather, course conditions, or food and drink.
Throughout the year, Cape Cod veterans and active military personnel benefited from
much-needed assistance through the TGC Fund, a donor advised fund,
ranging from direct grants, grocery gift cards, unforeseen emergency expenses, and
fuel assistance to job training.

Heroes Golf Clinic, June 26, 2011

A special "Bogeys to Birdies" Golf Clinic, free to local veterans, was hosted by TGC Director of Golf and PGA Pro Doug Errhalt and personal trainer and golf biomechanics specialist Jeff Handler, assisted by several area golf pros.
"Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality shown not only to
me, but all of the Military members present for both the training clinic and
tournament held at TGC last fall. In all my years of service, I have never
been so grateful to serve after you and your staff opened your facility to
all military members that wonderful couple of days. I rate that experience
at the top of many I have had the opportunity to enjoy."
