At The Golf Club of Cape Cod, new club traditions are taking root, following the vision of its members to establish the very best golf experience in the Northeast.
The best traditions of the game of golf – from golf course design to junior golf and caddy program – are welcomed here and serve as the foundation of things to come. The very best traditions of hospitality – first-class member services to exceptional dining – are the norm here, not the exception.
It is these traditions to which this page is dedicated.
The Golf Club of Cape Cod is proud to have hosted several important tournaments since its founding, including the MGA Senior Championship and the Women's Golf Association of Massachusetts' Edith Noblit Baker Tournament.
"Your team of professionals did an outstanding job ensuring that each competitor had a wonderful experience at The Golf Club of Cape Cod. Edith Noblit Baker's mission statement for the tournament developed in 1950 was 'for the purpose of advancing the sociability of the game and renewal of acquaintances - the real reason for golf's being.'"

The TGC Junior Golf Program
The future of the game lies in the enthusiasm of junior golfers, ages 4 - 17. At TGCCC, we offer professionally managed instructional programs designed to teach junior golfers the fundamentals of the game. Instructional classes are grouped by age and ability. Two 1-week golf camps, conducted at the TGC Practice Facility are being offered in 2009.

The TGC Caddy Program

The Golf Staff has put together an extensive training program for caddies and forecaddies at The Golf Club of Cape Cod. This training program was designed to develop the best caddies in the Northeast.
The Golf Club has a solid base of 30-40 experienced caddies (center, above). We have many returning experienced caddies from last season as well as many new caddies.
The caddy training experience at The Golf Club of Cape Cod includes reading the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund Caddy Manual. Caddy candidates must participate in a walking tour of the golf course led by the Golf Staff. They also take part in training rounds on the golf course with members of the Golf Staff.
