Welcome to the The Golf Club of Cape Cod. Designed by Rees Jones and located in East Falmouth, Massachusetts (132 Falmouth Woods Road), the Club is a private and traditional golf-only club for discerning members who appreciate the essential values of golf – camaraderie and sportsmanship.
The Club offers its members (many of whom are Member Partners with an equity stake in the Club) a relaxed atmosphere, consistently superb playing conditions, great food, and a broad array of members' services and social amenities, resulting in an exceptional private golf experience.
Event Hosting
The Club has emerged as one of the Cape's most exciting venues for fundraising and corporate events as well as special occasions such as rehearsal dinners, anniversaries and other life celebrations (see "Events").
Exceptional Dining for Members and the Public
The Club also offers public guest reservations for dining in the Clubhouse - sharing its distinctive character and world-class approach to hospitality with others. How good is Jon Philips, the Club's Executive Chef? Consider this unsolicited review:
"Just a note from a former cook (Olives in Boston) about our dinner this past Saturday night. I was part of the party of 15 with the rest of my family. We are not members, but availed ourselves of the opportunity to come in for dinner.
In a word, dinner was SUPERB! Honestly, everyone raved about every dish. My bouillabaisse was better than one I had in Marseilles a few summers ago. The Thai and citrus touches to the fried calamari were wonderful and the shiny shellacked short ribs were perfect. I could rail on, but I really just wanted to go out of my way to let you know how good I thought everything was. Forget the club food chatter, our meals were better than anything I've had at ANY restaurant in a long time. We live in Boston and my favorite food in the city at any price point is at Dave DuBois' The Franklin Cafe. There isn't a place in Boston I haven't eaten at (except for Barbara Lynch's new $150.00 per person prix fixe Menton that won't be seeing my face anytime soon), and you're as good as any I've been to. Club management is nuts if they don't try to brand themselves on your talents to increase membership (a la Rachel Klein and The Seaport Hotel). One of the reasons I've always dreaded visiting on the Cape (family in Pocasset) is that there's nowhere decent to eat....until now. No more Chart Room; no more Brookside; no more Chapoquoit Grille. I will visit more often!
Keep up the good work. I'm a member at (Club name withheld) and thinking of bailing as my wife and I spend more and more of our time at our place in Westport. Although it's a bit of a drive from Westport, your food might have me looking at TGCCC in a year or two."
The Club recently hosted the AJGA Deutsche Bank Partners for Charity Junior Shoot Out. This 54-hole, stroke play tournament featured many of the nation's top boys and girls, ages 12-18. Proceeds from the event, sanctioned by the American Junior Golf Association, will be presented to local grassroots junior golf programs. Over $1.5 million have been directed towards junior golf programs in the U.S. over the past 10 years from the event.
The Club has hosted the Massachusetts Men's Senior State amateur championship and the Women's Golf Association of Massachusetts' 2009 Edith Noblit Baker Tournament.

“I would like to thank you and your first rate staff for a tremendous evening celebrating my wife's birthday. The atmosphere of the private dining room created an intimate setting similar to being in our own home. The attention of your staff displayed was impeccable and greatly appreciated. The menu developed was out of this world, Jonathan's presentation and variety of combinations satisfied all. Our guests still mention the evening with delight whenever we speak with them.”
Among other accolades, Golfweek placed The Golf Club #4 among its ranking of the Top 50 courses. Visit our "Press and News" page for recent and archived articles about the Club.
This award-winning club is the only course on Cape Cod designed by renowned golf course architect, Rees Jones (The "U.S. Open Doctor").
